Our Beginnings
We are a family run restaurant with over 35+ years of experience. Caffe Delhi is run by Executive Chef and owner Sanjiv “Mickey” Chopra. His culinary journey started in New Delhi, India with his father Kishan Dev Chopra aka Nikkoo Sha, who owned the iconic “Kake Da Hotel” in Connaught Place, Delhi.
Our Journey
In 1987, Chef Mickey moved to the US with the vision of bringing those timeless flavors to a new home. Years later, alongside his wife Bhavana, that vision became reality with the opening of Caffe Delhi in Denville, NJ.
Our Today
Today, Caffe Delhi stands as one of the most loved Indian restaurants in Morris and Essex County, celebrated for its high-quality food, warm hospitality, elegant ambiance, and weekly live music nights. From casual dinners to grand celebrations, we bring authentic Indian flavors with a modern touch.
